Job Title: Registered Nurse – LTC (Night Shift)
Location: Gifford, IL
Type: Contract
Pay Rate: $40 to $46/hour (Based on experience)
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights | Hours: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM | Schedule: 3 shifts/week, every other weekend | Hours/Week: 36
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse - LTC for an exciting Travel or Local job in Gifford, IL.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care to residents overnight, following established care plans.
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and respond to emergencies.
- Document care accurately in PCC charting system.
- Collaborate with CNAs and fellow nursing staff to ensure safe resident care.
- Participate in facility orientation, competency training, and shadowing as required.
- Maintain compliance with infection control and safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in Illinois.
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required.
- LTC or nursing home experience preferred.
- Strong communication, observation, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work night 12-hour shifts with weekend rotation.
