Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Long Term Care (LTC)

Location: Velva, ND
Shift: Day Shift | Variable Schedule | 12-Hour Shifts
Hours: 36 Hours per Week
Duration: 8–13 Weeks (as per facility need)
Facility Type: Long Term Care / Nursing Home

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Registered Nurse (RN) for a Long Term Care assignment in Velva, North Dakota. This role is ideal for a nurse dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a skilled nursing environment.

The RN will be responsible for delivering direct resident care, ensuring safety, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to support positive resident outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting

  • Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies as prescribed

  • Assess, monitor, and document residents’ physical and emotional conditions

  • Identify and report changes in patient condition appropriately

  • Collaborate with physicians, CNAs, therapists, and care team members

  • Assist with admissions, discharges, and care transitions

  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

  • Respond promptly to resident needs and emergencies

  • Promote resident dignity, safety, comfort, and independence

  • Follow facility policies, infection control standards, and regulatory guidelines

Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required

  • Previous LTC, SNF, or similar experience preferred

  • Current BLS certification required

  • Strong assessment, documentation, and medication administration skills

  • Ability to work variable day shifts, including 12-hour schedules

  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills

  • Compassionate and patient-focused approach to geriatric care

  • Ability to work independently and adapt to facility needs
