    Responsibilities

    In this role, you will lead the clinical, operational and people management functions for Labor & Delivery and OB Triage, fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, professional growth and high-quality patient care. You will oversee staffing, scheduling, recruitment, retention, performance management and staff development while cultivating a supportive and collaborative work environment. Working closely with physicians and interdisciplinary leaders, you will strengthen partnerships, navigate complex situations and promote alignment around patient care, quality and service goals. You will also drive performance improvement initiatives, utilize clinical and operational data to evaluate outcomes and improve care delivery and ensure compliance with professional practice standards, accreditation requirements and regulatory expectations. 

    Qualifications

    Education & Experience 

    • Demonstrated expertise in Labor and Delivery and leadership ability required 
    • 3 years of Labor and Delivery experience  
    • Previous leadership experience in the healthcare industry or a healthcare setting required 

     

    Licenses and Certifications 

    • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required 
    • Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of California required
