    Description

    We are seeking an experienced RN Nurse Manager – Operating Room to lead clinical operations at a  medical center in Torrance, California. This role is responsible for overseeing the total operations of the Operating Room, managing staff, and ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care on a 24/7 basis.

    The Nurse Manager will provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to a team of skilled OR nurses while ensuring compliance with clinical standards, hospital policies, and regulatory requirements.     Key Responsibilities

    • Manage daily operations of the Operating Room, including staffing, scheduling, and workflow optimization.

    • Ensure high-quality, safe, and patient-focused care delivery.
    • Supervise, mentor, and develop nursing staff to foster a collaborative and engaged team.
    • Lead quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve organizational goals.
    • Administer budgets, resources, and operational plans for the OR unit.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN).

    • California Registered Nurse (RN) License.

    • National Provider BLS – American Heart Association Certification.

    • NNR certification for relevant specialty within required timeframe (L&D, NICU, Nursery, Postpartum).
    • Minimum 5 years of RN experience in a hospital/acute care setting.

    • Minimum 5 years of direct RN experience in a dedicated Operating Room.
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in Nurse Leadership roles (Charge RN, Supervisor, ANM, Manager).

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Masters Degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration.

    • Experience managing Magnet® recognized hospital units.
