RN - Med-Surg Float Pool

Job Title: Travel RN Med-Surg Float Pool
Location: Albany, NY
Duration: 2+ months (possible extension)
Pay range - $60/hr. - $65/hr. ($2200/week - $2200/week )
shift - 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM with every other weekend

Job Summary:

Client is hiring a Travel Med-Surg Float Pool RN to provide flexible, high-quality care across multiple units within the hospital. Candidates must have Epic EMR experience and either:

• 1 year experience with a passing score on a competency test
  OR

• 2 years of overall Med-Surg experience (no test required).
  
  A competency test will be sent via HSH to the candidate s email within 48 .

Basic Responsibilities (it can vary according to client requirement)

• Deliver patient-centered Med-Surg care across different units based on staffing needs

• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions using Epic EMR

• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary staff, and care coordinators

• Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and hospital protocols

• Float across multiple Med-Surg units as required

• Manage medication administration and patient education

Skills & Requirements:

• Epic EMR Experience (Required)

• Experience:

  • 1 year in with a competency test

  • OR 2 years of experience without testing requirement

• Competency Testing:

  • Must be completed within 48 hours of submission

• Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program, active RN license

• Certifications: AHA BLS required
