What Youll Do
- Deliver patient care using the nursing process and applicable professional standards.
- Assess patient needs and implement appropriate care and teaching strategies.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and members of the interdisciplinary team.
- Delegate, direct, and assist licensed and ancillary team members.
- Manage nursing team resources and support quality patient outcomes.
- Use clinical information and data to evaluate care and promote positive change.
- Promote patient satisfaction, employee morale, and professional nursing practice.
What You Need
Required- Current RN license in the state of practice
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification
- At least 2 years of nursing experience
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency with computers, software, and web-based applications
Preferred- Associate or bachelors degree in nursing
- Certification in a clinical specialty area
