Join Our Dynamic Medical-Surgical Team in Indiana! Are you a skilled RN with a passion for diverse patient care? Our General Medical and Surgical units in Indiana offer an exciting opportunity to work with a wide range of patient diagnoses, from chronic illnesses like COPD, Diabetes, and CHF to GI issues, infections, neurological conditions, and mental health disorders. Responsibilities As a member of our team, you'll provide comprehensive medical-surgical nursing care, including: Performing assessments and care planning Engaging in inter-professional communication Utilizing the Electronic Health Record (EHR) Managing IV therapy, wound vacs, feeding pumps, and more Equipment You Will Use Epic electronic record Pyxis machines Accucheck blood glucose monitors Hospira IV pumps SCDs for VTE prevention Telemetry monitoring Requirements Minimum one year of Med Surg hospital experience (Two years preferred) BLS certification IN State or compact RN license Schedule Enjoy the flexibility of 12-hour shifts, with a requirement of 3 weekend shifts in 4 weeks. You'll float to areas in greatest need, maintaining a patient ratio of 1:5.
