RN Nurse Supervisor

Overview:

This position will serve as a RN supervisor for the local office providing in-home supervisory visits and admissions for such programs as Medicaid and VA.

 

 

Responsibilities:

• Duties include completing a nursing assessment of all home care clients
• Review and determine that care is provided according to the plan of care.
• Oversee the initial and ongoing assessment of home care clients.
• Conduct supervisory visits to clients in Guildford County and surrounding counties.
• Ensure aides are competent to provide care to the client assigned.
• Initiate, review, and revise the plan of care.
• Supervise the in-home aides, conduct employee evaluations, disciplinary actions, etc.
• Hours vary, as you make your own schedule. May require an occasional after hours or weekend visit based on the needs of the client.

Qualifications:

Must have an RN license in VA. Prefer one year experience in homecare but not required.
