Job Description
RN needed to work in Observation Unit. The schedule D/E/N rotating shift schedule, E/O weekend, holiday and on call required. This unit cared for adult patients needing additional abservation to determine if the patient's condition warrants admission to the hospital or if they are able to be treated and released to go home safely. This unit is very busy turns over 20-27 patients a day with an average length of stay being 27 hours. This unit has 24/7 provider coverage. Care is provided to a diverse adult population of both ED observation and admitted boarding patients. Patients range from short stay to full admission.

Required qualifications:

• NY State RN license in hand
• 2+ years Med Surg & Tele experience
• AHA BLS required ACLS preferred
