Full Time Day and will work 10 -hour Day shifts.

The RN – Outpatient Surgery is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to surgical patients throughout the perioperative process. The nurse collaborates with physicians, anesthesia providers, and the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, efficient, and patient-centered care in an acute care outpatient surgery setting.

Required Qualifications

Education: Graduate from an accredited Nursing Program

Licensure & Certifications

• California Registered Nurse (RN) License
• BLS – American Heart Association
• ACLS – American Heart Association
• PALS – American Heart Association

Experience

• Minimum 1 year RN experience
• Minimum 1 year Outpatient Surgery (OR) RN experience in an acute care hospital
• Minimum 1 year Ambulatory Surgery RN experience
• Experience must be post-licensure (student clinical rotations do not qualify)

Preferred Qualifications

• Perioperative Nursing experience
• Same-Day Surgery experience
• PACU or Operating Room experience
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience
• Strong patient education and communication skills
