Key Responsibilities of the RN - Progressive Care Unit- Deliver highly individualized care to medical, cardiac, and surgical patients
- Perform Q6H head-to-toe assessments and full documentation
- Administer and titrate medications such as Dopamine, Dobutrex, and Precedex
- Maintain and manage equipment like Phillips telemetry and Alaris pumps
- Conduct procedures including Foley placement, wound vac management, and EKGs
Requirements of the RN - Progressive Care Unit- Current BLS and ACLS certification
- Cardiac/telemetry and critical care experience
- Advanced skills: IV, chest tube, tracheostomy, CVC management
