What Youll Do
- Deliver patient care using the nursing process and applicable standards of practice.
- Assess patient needs and provide individualized care, education, and support.
- Coordinate, delegate, and direct nursing team resources appropriately.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to promote quality patient outcomes.
- Use clinical information and patient data to evaluate care and support improvements.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, families, coworkers, and other disciplines.
- Adapt care and communication to respect each patients privacy, culture, needs, and preferences.
What You Need
Required- Current registered nurse license in the state of practice
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification
- Registered nurse diploma
- At least 2 years of nursing experience
- Strong communication, organization, time-management, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to use computers, software, and web-based applications
- Sound judgment and ability to work independently
Preferred- Associate or bachelors degree in nursing
- Certification in a clinical specialty area
