Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide healthcare services to youth in a correctional facility setting. The ideal candidate should have strong clinical assessment skills, medication administration experience, and the ability to handle medical emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Assess and respond to patients' medical and healthcare concerns.

• Monitor vital signs and changes in health conditions.

• Administer medications and monitor for adverse reactions.

• Conduct health screenings for newly admitted youth.

• Provide direct patient care and emergency medical assistance.

• Collect blood, urine, and other laboratory specimens.

• Administer vaccinations and assist with TB testing.

• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.

• Coordinate treatment plans with healthcare professionals.

• Ensure medical supplies and equipment are properly maintained.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience.

• Active Arizona RN license.

• Strong clinical assessment and emergency response skills.

• Knowledge of medication administration and nursing procedures.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous correctional healthcare experience.
