Shift & Schedule: Day Shift, 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM | 4 Days per Week | 40 Hours/Week

Pay Rate:
Local: $60–$62/hr
Traveler: $62–$64/hr

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide preoperative care and post-anesthesia recovery services in a perioperative setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients before and after surgical procedures.

• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.

• Provide nursing interventions based on patient condition and acuity.

• Prepare patients for procedures and provide postoperative recovery care.

• Monitor critically ill patients, including those requiring ventilator support.

• Document nursing assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes.

• Follow evidence-based nursing practices and patient safety standards.

• Float between Preop/PACU areas as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN); BSN preferred.

• Minimum 2 years of recent critical care nursing experience.

• Recent experience in critical care, preoperative care, and PACU recovery.

• Strong Telemetry experience and Telemetry certification.

• Experience caring for patients on ventilators.

• Active New Jersey RN license or eligible multistate compact license.

• American Heart Association (AHA) BLS and ACLS certifications.

• PALS certification.

• PACU experience required; 3+ years preferred.

• Ability to work in other Preop/PACU areas as needed.
