Job Summary and Responsibilities

The Program Coordinator is responsible for assessing, planning, directing, implementing, coordinating and evaluating the effectiveness of the day-to-day operations of the Cath Lab in accordance with facility policies, service line objectives, and clinical standards. Accountable for program accreditation and/or certification by regulatory bodies.

Job Requirements

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's in Nursing from an accredited School of Nursing required.
  • MSN or Master's degree preferred.

Minimum Experience Requirements:

  • Five years of nursing experience in acute care.
  • 2 years nursing experience in area of specialty.
  • Experience with data analysis and performance improvement.
  • Experience with program coordination.
  • Previous leadership experience, preferred.
  • Requires advanced knowledge in nursing, evidence-based practice methods, and person-centered care concepts.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and requirements.

License/Certifications Requirements:

  • Current state RN license for applicable state of employment or current RN license from a participating state in National Compact Licensure.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association.
  • Certified Nurse Manager & Leader required.
