Average # of providers in the clinic/day 1-3 EP Physicians, 1-4 EP APPs

Average # of patients/day Workload will vary from day-to-day; expectation to cover planned clinic visits and peri-operative management, remote monitoring, and device consults that arise throughout the day.

Required Certifications BLS, Certified Cardiac Device Specialist (CCDS)

Common diagnosis / Types of patients Adults & Geriatrics

Device Types Boston Sci, Healthcare, Client, Biotronik

Experience or 'Must have' skills "Must have Certified Cardiac Device Specialist (CCDS)

Prefer Certified Electrophysiology Specialist (CEPS) "

Manager/Supervisor Manager: Shannon Stone -- 2 Perm staff: 1 Device RN & 1 Device MA available for support

Job Duties Device management, post-operative wound checks, remote monitoring of devices, and collaboration with multi-disciplinary team

EMR Epic, Vector (Device Management System)- willing to teach on system

Shifts & Scheduling "Clinic hours typically M-F 8-5; Staggered start times M-F (5- 8 hr shifts) of , 8-4:30, 8:30- 5" -- Will always have a permanent staff member available for support

Weekend Requirement None

Holiday Requirement None

Is there a call or standby requirement? None

Floating Requirements Will be expected to cover the Outpatient settings; will be asked to travel between Tacoma & Gig Harbor outpatient clinics
Scrub Color/Dress Code Scrubs; no color preference

How many shifts for orientation? 2-5 days General Orientation- including Epic; 1- 5 days with a preceptor depending on when you're checked off

Additional Notes Tacoma & Gig Harbor clinics- a lot of device reps available for support; Physicians and APPs approachable and willing to teach
