Responsibilities*Provides specialized care for patients undergoing cancer treatment, including administering systemic therapies such as chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted agents.*Assess and manage treatment-related symptoms.*Coordinate care across disciplines, and support patients through education, counseling, and survivorship planning.*Work alongside oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, social workers, and other specialists to coordinate holistic patient care.*Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests and imaging.*Offer clear guidance on follow up care, medication regimens, and lifestyle modifications to support informed decision-making.*Participate in tumor boards, care conferences, and quality improvement initiatives.*Document all patient interactions and clinical decisions in the electronic medical record (EMR).*Stay current with oncology best practices, emerging therapies, and clinical guidelines through continuing education and training. Requirements *Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program*Current ARNP certification and licensure in Washington State *DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority*Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association.
