Position Summary
St. Augustine Health & Rehabilitation Center is seeking compassionate and dependable Registered Nurses to join our nursing team on a PRN basis.
The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality nursing care in a long-term care and rehabilitation setting while supporting each resident’s physical, emotional, and social well-being. This position also works closely with physicians, therapists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to promote positive resident outcomes.
Essential Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care in accordance with physician orders, resident care plans, and facility policies.
- Assess residents and monitor changes in condition.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
- Notify physicians, families, and appropriate team members of changes in resident condition.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants and other direct care staff.
- Follow infection-control procedures and applicable state and federal regulations.
- Promote a safe, respectful, and resident-focused environment.
Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the State of Florida.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- New graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or geriatric nursing experience is preferred.
- Strong assessment, clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
