Deliver comprehensive nursing care using evidence-based practice and the nursing process.
Assess, monitor, and evaluate patients with cardiac and telemetry needs.
Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
Administer medications, treatments, and patient education.
Document accurately in Epic EMR and maintain compliance with hospital, regulatory, and legal standards.
Promote patient safety, quality improvement, and infection prevention initiatives.
Perform patient rounding, discharge planning, and transition-of-care coordination.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare team members.
Perform charge nurse duties as assigned and support unit operations.
Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License
BLS Certification
Minimum 2 years of RN experience
Minimum 2 years of cardiology, telemetry, or VAD (Ventricular Assist Device) experience
Epic EMR experience preferred
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Experience in stepdown/progressive care or telemetry units
Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient education skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced acute care environment
