The Work You’ll Do

As our RN Supervisor, you’ll provide clinical leadership while remaining connected to resident care. You’ll:

  • Lead and supervise nursing and direct care staff throughout the shift.
  • Coordinate assignments based on resident needs and staff competencies.
  • Provide direct nursing care, medications, treatments, and clinical assessments as needed.
  • Monitor changes in resident condition and make timely clinical decisions.
  • Ensure individualized plans of care are understood and consistently carried out.
  • Communicate with residents, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary care team.
  • Coach and support nursing staff and CNAs, including identifying opportunities for education and development.
  • Maintain required clinical documentation and support regulatory compliance.
  • Address staffing, safety, and resident-care concerns that arise during the shift.
  • Support quality improvement, surveys, and other essential clinical needs of the facility.

What You’ll Bring

You know that being the RN in charge is about more than making assignments. People look to you when something changes, when a decision needs to be made, and when the team needs direction.

You bring sound clinical judgment, a calm and confident approach, and the ability to lead while staying connected to the residents and staff you support.

You’ll also bring:

  • A resident-first approach and commitment to quality care.
  • The ability to lead, coach, communicate, and make decisions during the shift.
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • A current and active Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • At least one year of direct-care experience in a long-term care setting.
  • Charge Nurse, supervisory, or similar leadership experience preferred.

Your Experience. Their Care. Your Team. A Place Where It All Matters.

If you’re an experienced RN who wants to use both your clinical skills and your ability to lead, we’d like to talk with you.

Bring your experience. Lead the team. Help shape the care our residents receive. See what NewCourtland has to offer.
