Job description

Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patients' care needs- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician- Perform physical examinations and health assessments- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans- Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures and self-care techniques- Document patient information and maintain accurate medical records- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients

Skills:- Proficient in using Cerner or similar electronic medical record (EMR) systems- Experience in acute care settings, such as hospitals or emergency departments- Knowledge of behavioral health principles and practices- Experience working with children or pediatric patients- Ability to perform dialysis procedures, if required- Competency in conducting physical examinations and interpreting results- Familiarity with workers compensation laws and regulations- Proficient in medication administration techniques and dosage calculations- Ability to catheterize patients, if necessary- Knowledge of ICD-10 coding system for accurate documentation and billing purposes
