Position: RN – Telemetry
Facility: Carondelet St. Joseph Hospital
Location: Tucson, AZ 85711
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour Day Shift
Schedule: 3 shifts/week (36 hours guaranteed)

Job summary

The Telemetry RN will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring. Responsibilities include assessing patient conditions, administering medications and treatments, monitoring telemetry rhythms, collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, and documenting care accurately.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret telemetry/cardiac rhythms.

• Assess and care for patients with cardiac and medical conditions.

• Administer medications and IV therapies.

• Respond to changes in patient condition and emergency situations.

• Coordinate care with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals.

• Maintain accurate EMR documentation.

• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge care.

Required qualifications

• Active RN license (Arizona or compact license if applicable).

• BLS certification.

• ACLS certification.

• NIHSS certification.

• Current resume.

• Driver's license.

• Professional references.
