What Youll Do
- Deliver patient care using the nursing process and applicable professional standards.
- Assess patient needs and develop, implement, and evaluate appropriate care strategies.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care team members.
- Delegate, direct, and support licensed and ancillary team members.
- Educate patients, families, and other groups based on identified learning needs.
- Promote quality outcomes, patient safety, privacy, and culturally responsive care.
- Use clinical information and data to support effective care and positive changes in practice.
What You Need
Required:- Current registered nurse license in the state of practice
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification
- Current American Heart Association ACLS certification
- Registered nurse diploma
- At least 2 years of experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Effective organization, time management, judgment, and computer skills
Preferred:- Associate or bachelors degree in nursing
- Certification in a clinical specialty area
