Job Summary: Perform the professional functions of a Registered Nurse in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients. Coordinate, manage, provide and delegate patient care. Responsible for meeting the established Standards of Nursing Practice and promoting cooperation among the health care team. This position is represented by CNA. Job Requirements: Education and Work Experience: Graduate of a school of nursing: Required One-year recent acute care RN experience: Required Licenses/Certifications: Current RN license in state of practice: Required Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS)?certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required Advanced Cardiovascular?Life Support (ACLS OR HS-ACLS OR RQIACLS)?certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required within 6 months of hire or transfer Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)?certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required within 6 months of hire or transfer AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring course required on hire and every two years for experienced nurses: Required Novice, or new to L&D RN?s will take the AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring course during first 6-8 months of L&D orientation then AWHONN Advanced Fetal monitoring course every two years thereafter: Required Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of practice: Required Facility Specific License/Certifications: AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS: Required AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS: Required AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS: Required Essential Functions: Actively participates in committees i.e. Shared Governance, and encourages actions that promote good guest relations with patients, families, physicians, co-workers and community. Requirements:
