Road Service Diesel Technician

If you’re a diesel mechanic who enjoys independence, variety, and real earning power, this is the role for you. We’re hiring a Road Service Diesel Technician based out of Chicopee, MA to support trucks, trailers, motor coaches, personal vehicles, and some heavy equipment across New England. This is a true field service position—you’ll be trusted with your own company service truck, dispatched to emergency roadside calls, and backed by a responsive support and dispatch team.

Schedule & Work Style

• Monday–Friday availability between 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Weekend availability required
• On-call rotation required
• Significant travel across New England interstates (often 50+ miles in any direction)

What You’ll Be Doing

• Perform emergency roadside repairs and mobile diagnostics on diesel-powered vehicles and equipment
• Perform brake work, electrical work, tire removal and installation. AC and emission system maintenance.
• Use modern diagnostic software and tools to identify and resolve issues quickly
• Communicate clearly with Dispatch, Parts, and Management to keep jobs moving
• Maintain accurate documentation, invoices, and receipts
• Provide professional, calm, customer-focused service

What We’re Looking For

• Diesel mechanic with strong troubleshooting skills and hands-on repair experience
• Comfortable working independently in roadside and outdoor environments
• Experience with diesel diagnostic software
• Valid drivers license
