- System Operation: Load and unload parts into fixtures, initiate Miller or Lincoln robot programs, and monitor the automated welding process in real-time for arc stability, wire feed and quality.
- Programming & Setup: Utilize Miller or Lincoln teach pendants to make minor adjustments to existing programs, adjust weld settings (volts, amps, wire feed speed), and set up fixtures for new jobs.
- Quality Control: Inspect welded components for defects using calipers, gauges, or tape measures. Perform minor rework of welds when necessary.
- Maintenance: Perform routine preventative maintenance on the Miller or Lincoln robot and welding cell, including cleaning nozzles, replacing contact tips, managing shielding gas, and cleaning the work area.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve minor robot, fixture, or weld quality issues during production, such as sensor errors and wire feed issues.
- Mig Skills: Must be experienced in Mig welding to touch up welds as needed.
- Safety Adherence: Strictly follow safety protocols, including wearing proper PPE (welding helmet, safety glasses and gloves), ensuring light curtains/safety gates are functioning, and reporting near-misses.
- Documentation: Update computer records and paperwork in accordance with production requirements.
- Communication: Must have a working command of the English language and be able to communicate orally and in writing.

of the purpose of this position and may also be performed by other department members.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to perform essential duties
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two years Mig manual welding
- Prior robotic operation experience
- Successful completion of an internal welding test
Requirements- Ability to perform essential duties.
- Degree in Mechanical/Robotics Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of two years in robotics and Mig welding applications.
- Experience with Fanuc, Copilot or Panda Suite Software.
- Successful completion of an internal welding test.
- Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
