Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM or 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite
Compensation: $111,000–$135,000 annually
Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire

Role Overview
Our client, a leading organization in industrial manufacturing and energy equipment, is seeking a bilingual Chinese/English Robotics Engineer to design, implement, optimize, and support industrial robotic automation systems. This position combines hands-on robotics engineering, industrial programming, manufacturing support, and project management to improve production efficiency, safety, and quality. The ideal candidate has experience implementing robotic systems in manufacturing environments and collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver automation solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, program, test, implement, and commission industrial robotic automation systems.
- Develop and modify robotic programs using FANUC, ABB, KUKA, Yaskawa/Motoman, or Universal Robots.
- Configure and integrate end-of-arm tooling (EOAT), machine vision systems, sensors, and peripheral equipment.
- Optimize robotic cycle times, improve production efficiency, and troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Collaborate with Controls Engineers to integrate robotics with PLCs, HMIs, conveyors, industrial networks, and safety systems.
- Provide hands-on manufacturing support to resolve robotic equipment failures and production challenges.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve equipment reliability.
- Support new product introductions and manufacturing process improvements.
- Manage small-to-medium automation projects, including coordinating suppliers, timelines, and deliverables.
- Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to improve productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, maintenance, and production teams to support automation initiatives.
Qualifications
- Fluent in both Chinese and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- 3–7 years of industrial robotics engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience implementing, programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting industrial robotic systems.
- Experience programming industrial robots, including FANUC, ABB, KUKA, Yaskawa/Motoman, or Universal Robots.
- Experience with PLC integration, industrial networking, and automated manufacturing equipment.
- Background providing robotics engineering and technical support within manufacturing environments.
- Experience managing automation projects and coordinating cross-functional activities.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree in Robotics, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
- Ability to work onsite in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in energy equipment manufacturing, heavy manufacturing, or industrial equipment production.
- Experience with robotic welding applications, machine vision, and collaborative robots.
- Familiarity with offline robotic programming and simulation software.
- Experience using SprutCAM.
- Programming experience with Python or C#.
- Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification.
- Experience managing automation implementation projects from design through commissioning.
