ROCHESTER: Design Engineering Intern

This is a summer intern position in the Design & Technology Group. The candidate will be modifying circuits to target new technology nodes by performing circuit-level simulations using SPICE. Extensive circuit-level simulations are currently performed for every design recreation. The current process involves manually creating the simulation test benches for each recreation project. Additionally, chip level test benches will be used to stimulate actual parts on development lab boards to validate results.

Script development using Python

Circuit-level simulation using SPICE

Data analysis with Excel or similar

Presentation of the creation results at the end of the internship

Create documentation for easy handoff to design team members
