MGC Roofing & Construction, Inc. is hiring dependable, hardworking Commercial Roofing Laborers / Apprentices to join our Service Department. This is a full-time, in-person position for individuals interested in building a career in commercial roofing. Our Service Department specializes in commercial roof repairs, preventative maintenance, leak investigation, and roof restoration. Job Responsibilities As a Roofing Laborer / Apprentice, you will work alongside an experienced Lead Roofing Technician performing commercial roof repairs and preventative maintenance. Responsibilities include:

Assist with locating and diagnosing commercial roof leaks. Assist with roof repairs and preventative maintenance. Work with multiple roofing systems, including cold-applied BUR, modified bitumen, EPDM, TPO, PVC, roof coatings, metal, tile, and shingles. Safely use roofing tools, equipment, ladders, and materials. Assist with loading and unloading roofing materials and equipment. Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked service truck. Keep job sites clean and organized. Follow company safety procedures at all times. Communicate professionally with customers, supervisors, and coworkers. Follow instructions from Lead Technicians and Field Management. Properly document work when required using a smartphone or company software.

Minimum Requirements Applicants must:

Be legally authorized to work in the United States. Have reliable transportation to and from work each day. Be comfortable working on commercial rooftops and not be afraid of heights. Be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Be able to work outdoors in Florida weather conditions. Be dependable, punctual, and able to report to work as scheduled. Be able to follow instructions and company safety procedures. Work well as part of a team. Maintain professional behavior while working at customer properties. Have good judgment and attention to detail. Have or be willing to obtain the basic hand tools required for the position. Be comfortable using a smartphone for work-related communication and documentation.
