If that sounds like you, this Michigan-based role could be your next step. You’ll be the go-to expert for diagnosing and repairing issues on EPDM, TPO, PVC, metal, and related commercial roofing systems.
The Work
- Hunt down leaks and perform accurate, lasting repairs.
- Conduct inspections, document conditions, take photos, and build clear repair scopes.
- Lead and work with a 1–2 person service crew; set the pace and standard.
- Communicate professionally with facility managers, building owners, and internal teams.
- Use a mobile app to capture inspection notes and close out repairs.
- Flag additional service needs when you see them.
- Rotate on-call duties and respond to emergencies when required.
- Follow OSHA and company safety procedures at all times.

What You Need
- At least 3 years in commercial roofing service (repairs + diagnostics).
- Demonstrated ability to locate and repair roof leaks independently.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- OSHA knowledge and strong safety habits.
- Comfort with mobile devices for photos, inspections, and reporting.
- Reliable, detail-focused, and adaptable.
- Leadership or mentoring experience with a small crew is preferred.
