Room Attendant

Job Summary

We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented, and hardworking Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team at Homewood Suites by Hilton in Columbia, Maryland. The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining clean, comfortable, and welcoming guest rooms while providing excellent service to our guests.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms, suites, and bathrooms according to hotel standards.

• Make beds, change linens, and replace towels and guest amenities.

• Vacuum, dust, mop, and sanitize guest rooms and assigned areas.

• Replenish supplies and ensure all rooms are properly stocked.

• Report maintenance issues, damaged items, and lost-and-found items to the appropriate supervisor.

• Follow hotel cleanliness, safety, and sanitation procedures.

• Respond to guest requests in a friendly and professional manner.

• Maintain housekeeping carts, equipment, and storage areas in a clean and organized condition.

• Complete assigned rooms within established time standards.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or hotel experience is preferred but not required.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Good time management and organizational skills.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.

• Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
