Job Description
Responsibilities
- Clean and service assigned guest rooms according to hotel standards and procedures.
- Make beds, change linens, and replace towels and other guest amenities.
- Vacuum carpets, mop floors, dust furniture, and clean windows, mirrors, and surfaces.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, bathtubs, and fixtures.
- Replenish guest supplies such as toiletries, coffee, drinking water, tissues, and stationery.
- Remove trash, soiled linens, and room service items from guest rooms.
- Inspect rooms to ensure cleanliness, proper maintenance, and readiness for guest occupancy.
- Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, lost and found items, and damaged property to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and special cleaning needs.
- Maintain housekeeping carts, equipment, and storage areas in a clean and organized condition.
- Follow hotel safety procedures, infection control practices, and proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
- Protect guest privacy and maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Comply with hotel policies, grooming standards, and attendance requirements.
- Assist with deep cleaning projects and other housekeeping duties as assigned.
