What you’ll tackle
- Hit monthly production quotas and margin goals by partnering daily with the manager and shop superintendent.
- Keep work moving between our shop and outside contractors—visit sites, validate status, and accept finished product.
- Report WIP progress to account managers; keep stakeholders informed and confident.
- Own the WIP log to enable accurate monthly and quarterly billing forecasts.
- Coordinate with the EPR group to ensure travelers are created and the Avante system is fully utilized.
- Strengthen operational safety: maintain strong health and safety records; assist the shop superintendent with the safety committee and documentation controls.
- Conduct pre-quote inspections at competitors’ facilities; craft detailed proposals and scopes compatible with the Hydro Aire Avante system.
- Partner with EPR test engineers to learn test stand practices; grow into the test floor engineer role, delivering data for EPR hydraulic engineer sign-offs and verification test curves.
