Rough Carpenter

Skilled Trades Partners is looking for experienced Carpenters / Wood Framers to join our team and work with one of our trusted construction contractors on projects across New England.

Job Duties

• Perform residential and/or commercial wood framing
• Frame walls, floors, roofs, and other structural components
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements
• Measure, cut, and install lumber and other framing materials
• Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Ensure framing is built accurately and according to project specifications
• Work safely and maintain a clean, organized jobsite
• Work as part of a professional construction crew
• Perform other carpentry and framing duties as assigned

Requirements

• Previous carpentry and/or wood-framing experience
• Ability to read and understand construction plans is a plus
• Knowledge of framing techniques, materials, and tools
• Ability to accurately measure, cut, and install materials
• Reliable transportation to the jobsite
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Ability to work safely and effectively as part of a team
• OSHA 10 certification is a plus, but not required — we provide free OSHA and safety training
