Route Manager (Dry Cleaning Operations)

A busy dry-cleaning business is seeking a dependable, organized, and hands-on Route Manager to oversee daily delivery operations. This role involves coordinating a fleet of seven vans, planning efficient routes, inspecting vehicles and deliveries, and preparing orders for drivers. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, comfortable with physical work, and able to communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking drivers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Route Planning: Organize and coordinate daily routes for a fleet of seven vans to ensure efficient and timely deliveries.
• Driver Coordination: Communicate with drivers throughout the day, provide directions and support, and help resolve any route-related issues.
• Vehicle Inspections: Conduct routine inspections of vans to ensure they are ready for daily operations.
• Order Preparation: Prepare, organize, sort, and load orders for delivery. This is a hands-on role that requires lifting and moving items.
• Daily Operations: Monitor routes and deliveries to keep operations running smoothly and efficiently.
• Quality Control: Verify orders and ensure the correct items are prepared for delivery.
• Problem-Solving: Address scheduling delays, delivery issues, and other operational challenges as they arise.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in route management, delivery coordination, logistics, or a similar operational role is preferred.
• Spanish-speaking ability is required to communicate effectively with drivers.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple drivers and routes simultaneously.
• Comfortable with physical work, including lifting, moving, and preparing orders.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Hours: Sunday-Friday| 7:30 am - 4:30 pm

Salary: $22-$25/hour
