Rubber Production Technician

Pay: Starting at $17.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM until production is complete
Hours: Typically 40-60 hours per week, depending on work flow and production demands. Overtime may be required.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Rubber Production Technician to join a team working in a climate-controlled warehouse environment. This position involves cutting and preparing rubber materials, applying rubber sheets to molds, and assisting in the production of molded components used in offshore and industrial applications. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and prepare rubber sheets according to work orders and specifications.
• Apply rubber materials to molds as part of the manufacturing process.
• Assist with molding, assembly, and finishing operations.
• Inspect materials and finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Operate hand tools and production equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow production schedules, work instructions, and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Move materials and finished products throughout the warehouse as needed.
• Complete production and quality documentation accurately.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, or industrial experience preferred.
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work overtime as needed based on production demands.
• Experience working with rubber products or molding processes is a plus but not required.

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting Pay: $17.00 per hour
• 40-60 hours per week based on work flow and customer demand
• Overtime may be available based on production demands and workload; however, overtime is not guaranteed
