We're hiring Safety Drivers to help test and improve the next generation of autonomous vehicles.

This is your opportunity to take the driving skills you already have and use them in a completely different environment - working directly with autonomous vehicle technology instead of driving passengers or making deliveries all day.

WHAT MAKES THIS JOB DIFFERENT?

You won't be sitting at home waiting for your next Uber request.

Instead, you'll be part of a team working with next-generation autonomous vehicles on real roads.

You'll drive when needed, supervise the vehicle when it's operating autonomously, monitor what's happening around you, and provide the information needed to help improve the technology.

You're not just driving. You're helping teach the technology how to drive safely.

WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY DO

• Drive autonomous vehicles during real-world road testing
• Switch between manual driving and supervising autonomous mode
• Monitor traffic, pedestrians, road conditions, and your surroundings
• Identify potential hazards and react appropriately
• Work alongside remote operators and engineering teams
• Perform basic vehicle safety checks
• Record observations and driving data
• Help collect information used to improve autonomous driving systems
• Assist with basic technology-related tasks
• Help with simple hardware adjustments and software uploads
• Follow established testing and safety procedures

Don't have autonomous vehicle experience? That's okay.

You don't need to be an engineer.

We're looking for people who are good drivers, safety-conscious, observant, dependable, and comfortable learning new technology.

• Valid U.S. driver's license held for at least 3 years
• Clean driving record
• Strong driving and situational-awareness skills
• Good judgment behind the wheel

• Comfortable driving in different traffic, weather, and road conditions
• Comfortable using technology
• Able to follow detailed procedures
• Reliable and professional

You do NOT need previous autonomous vehicle experience.

Training and job-specific procedures will be provided.

PAY & SCHEDULE

$22-$25 PER HOUR

Full-Time | 40 Hours/Week

Multiple shift options are available, including morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend schedules depending on location.
