Job Description
Safety Manager
The Safety Manager will:
- Lead daily safety initiatives across active construction projects.
- Conduct site safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments.
- Support field teams with safety planning, training, and compliance programs.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety concerns while implementing corrective actions.
- Partner with project managers, superintendents, and field leadership to maintain a strong safety culture.
- Monitor compliance with company policies, client requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Utilize HCSS software to manage safety documentation, reporting, and project tracking.
- Deliver safety orientations, toolbox talks, and ongoing employee training.
- Assist with the development and implementation of safety processes and procedures as the company continues to expand.
- Report directly to the Safety Director while supporting multiple projects throughout the region.

A successful Safety Manager should have:
- 5+ years of safety experience within the construction industry.
- Experience supporting underground utility, trenchless installation, excavation, or concrete construction projects.
- Strong understanding of construction safety programs, inspections, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with field crews, project teams, and leadership.
- Experience managing safety documentation and reporting systems.
