With extensive experience performing work for transportation agencies, bridge commissions, municipalities, railroads, and private clients, they have completed numerous bridge replacements, rehabilitations, and design-build projects for organizations such as PennDOT, the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, SEPTA, and local government agencies.Job DescriptionLead and enforce company-wide safety initiatives across bridge and heavy civil construction projects.Conduct site inspections, safety audits, job hazard analyses, and incident investigations to identify and correct potential risks.Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, client requirements, and company safety policies and procedures.Develop, deliver, and maintain safety training programs, toolbox talks, and new hire orientations.Partner with project managers, superintendents, and field personnel to integrate safety into all phases of construction operations.Maintain safety documentation, regulatory records, and reporting requirements.Monitor subcontractor safety performance and ensure consistent adherence to project safety standards.Analyze safety trends, recommend corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Serve as the primary safety resource for field operations, providing guidance on safe work practices, equipment usage, and emergency response procedures.Foster a proactive safety culture that emphasizes accountability, teamwork, and incident prevention.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
