OVERVIEW
The Sales Account Executive-Architectural drives sales across Pattison ID’s growing portfolio of protected brands within the Architectural pillar. This role is focused on driving market share through direct selling. It is expected that this role will deliver $10M-20M of new sales annually. The Sales Account Executive-Architectural reports to the Director of Sales, Architectural, and works closely with Design, Project Management, and Manufacturing teams to ensure seamless delivery and client satisfaction.
The primary emphasis of this position is to branded automotive dealers and their delegated buyers. While automotive dealer programs are the core focus of this role, the Sales Account Executive-Architectural is also responsible for pursuing non-auto dealer architectural projects in order to expand Pattison ID’s cladding and façade business, leveraging our certified rainscreen systems and NFPA 285-certified products.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Account Management & Client Relationships
- Serve as the day-to-day sales contact for Pattison ID’s growing portfolio of protected Architectural brands, including Framework Dealers, architects, developers, general contractors, and building owners.
- Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with Framework Dealers, architectural firms, developers, general contractors, and building owners through regular outreach, responsiveness, and a genuine interest in project success.
- Develop a thorough understanding of each client’s business, brand and design standards, architectural specifications, and building program requirements.
- Become an expert at the brand requirements and applications for our products and services.
- Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries, requests for quotes, drawing or submittal requests, and product or service questions.
Revenue Growth Within Existing Accounts
- Identify and pursue opportunities to grow revenue and market share across Pattison ID’s portfolio of brands by introducing additional Pattison ID architectural products and services, such as cladding & fascia systems, canopy solutions, architectural lighting, exterior brand environments, and custom architectural fabrication solutions.
- Prioritize automotive dealer selling within captive, protected-license accounts, ensuring dealership facilities remain brand compliant; pursue non-auto dealer architectural projects to expand Pattison ID’s cladding and façade business using rainscreen and NFPA 285-certified systems.
- Support cross-sell and upsell conversations with clients, working in collaboration with Director of Sales, Architectural and the BDI (Business Development & Innovation) Team.
- Participate in account planning activities to set growth objectives, support specification influence, and track progress across each architectural account and project pipeline.
Sales Process & Pipeline Management
- Prepare and submit accurate quotes and proposals in a timely manner, coordinating with Estimating and Engineering on architectural drawings and specifications as needed.
- Maintain current and complete account and activity records in the CRM platform.
- Track open opportunities, follow up consistently, and communicate account status to Sales leadership.
- Support RFP, RFI, and architectural submittal responses for assigned accounts as required.
Internal Collaboration
- Coordinate with Design, Customer Relationship Managers, and Directors to ensure client expectations are aligned with design and delivery capabilities.
- Work with Project Management and Installation teams to communicate client requirements, project timelines, site conditions, and scope details accurately.
- Escalate account risks, delivery concerns, or client issues to the Director of Sales, Architectural or appropriate internal partners promptly.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
EDUCATION
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- 0–2 years of sales, account management, customer service, or related experience; recent graduates with relevant internship or co-op experience are encouraged to apply.
- Exposure to a B2B sales or professional services environment within the architecture, engineering, or construction (AEC) industry is an asset.
- Experience in architectural signage, building envelope systems, exterior cladding, canopy or lighting solutions, construction, or facilities services industries is an asset but not required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

- Basic commercial awareness; able to understand client needs and connect them to relevant Pattison ID architectural products and services.
- Comfortable reviewing architectural drawings, specifications, and building code or ADA requirements to support accurate quoting and client conversations.
- Collaborative team player; works effectively with Architectural Design, Project Management, and Operations.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and a commitment to maintaining accurate pipeline and account records.

- Regularly required to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time.
- Frequently required to use hands to operate a keyboard, mouse, and telephone.
- Occasionally required to stand, walk, or move within an office environment.
- Occasionally required to visit active construction or installation sites, following all applicable safety protocols and PPE requirements.
- Must be able to lift and handle items weighing up to 25 lbs on an occasional basis.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision for extended periods of screen use.
- Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing on a regular basis.
- Travel required up to 35% of the time for client visits, jobsite walkthroughs, and internal meetings.
