Overview

Our Client is a premier commercial and industrial mechanical contractor serving the Greater Houston market. They deliver comprehensive mechanical solutions, including HVAC, plumbing, piping, building automation and controls, preventive maintenance, service, retrofit, fabrication, and new construction. Our team partners with commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, manufacturing, and institutional clients to provide innovative, reliable, and cost-effective solutions that maximize building performance and operational efficiency.
System One is seeking a Strategic Sales/Account Manager to drive profitable growth through customer relationship development, recurring service agreements, project sales, and managed account expansion. This individual will serve as the primary business contact for assigned customers while actively developing new client relationships. The role combines business development, account management, estimating, project coordination, and customer retention responsibilities with a focus on creating long term partnerships and recurring revenue streams.

Responsibilities

• Drive profitable growth through customer relationship development, recurring service agreements, project sales, and managed account expansion for Graco Mechanical in Houston.
• Serve as the primary contact for assigned customers, actively developing new client relationships and expanding existing accounts.
• Develop project scopes, coordinate vendor pricing, prepare estimates and proposals, and pursue service, retrofit, repair, and project opportunities.
• Manage customer projects by coordinating activities between customers, operations, dispatch, technicians, and vendors to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
• Develop, sell, renew, and expand preventive maintenance agreements, multi-year service contracts, and managed service programs to enhance long-term customer partnerships.
• Maintain accurate CRM, proposal, pipeline, and customer activity records while supporting forecasting and performance reporting requirements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in commercial/industrial HVAC, plumbing, mechanical service, construction, facility services, or related industries
• Proven track record of business development and account growth
• Strong customer relationship, communication, and presentation skills
• Experience with estimating, proposals, and solution-based selling
• Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities
