The Opportunity

Allegro MicroSystems is seeking a highly driven and experienced Industrial Sales Account Manager to join our team. This pivotal role will be responsible for strategically developing and expanding our existing customer base, as well as identifying and cultivating new market opportunities. The Industrial Sales Account Manager will manage the entire sales cycle, from demand creation and opportunity identification to successful business closure, contributing significantly to Allegro's market growth and presence in the region.

What You Will Do

  • Leverage Allegro's established sales channels and resources to build and nurture strong relationships with current and prospective customers, driving sales growth and securing new design wins.

  • Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities for Allegro's product portfolio, including complex motor drivers, analog and digital magnetic sensors, and voltage regulators, within the industrial market.

  • Strategically identify, qualify, and close new sales opportunities to meet and exceed assigned sales targets.

  • Gain a deep understanding of customer organizations, key contacts, and strategic initiatives to align Allegro's offerings with their needs.

  • Navigate and manage complex business situations within a global and technically demanding environment.

  • Respond to customer inquiries, prepare and present price quotes, and negotiate agreements to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.

  • Continuously assess market needs and trends to inform the introduction of new product offerings and expand market penetration.

  • Collaborate closely with management to formulate and execute strategic sales plans for the Southwest region,

  • Prepare and deliver timely executive summary reports on sales performance, market feedback, and competitive intelligence.

What You Will Need

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, or a related technical field, combined with a minimum of five years of progressive experience in technical sales and customer management, with a proven track record of success.

  • Demonstrated sales experience with mixed-signal analog and digital integrated semiconductors, particularly in power management, power interface, brushless DC motors, and sensor devices.

  • Industrial application experience including, but not limited to, Robotics, UPS, PSU, Thermal Management, Cloud Infrastructure, and Clean Energy is a plus

  • Exceptional ability to collaborate synergistically within a global Allegro network, including engineering, sales, distributor partners, and marketing teams.

  • Proactive, results-oriented, and a strong desire to achieve ambitious sales goals.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and work cross-functionally in a dynamic environment.

  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently for customer engagements across the assigned territory.
