Account Manager – Industrial DistributionAbout The RoleThis is a territory-based Account Manager position focused on growing revenue through a combination of existing account management and new business development. You will be selling a broad range of industrial products and solutions — including pumps, fluid power, hydraulics, pneumatics, and related motion control products — to customers across a variety of manufacturing and industrial end-markets.ResponsibilitiesManage and grow an established territory by building strong relationships with existing customers while actively pursuing new accountsCall on plant managers, maintenance teams, engineers, and procurement personnelIdentify customer needs and present appropriate product and solution recommendationsPartner with internal application engineers and vendor representatives to deliver the right solutionsDevelop and execute a territory plan to consistently hit and exceed sales targetsMaintain accurate records of activity, pipeline, and forecasting through CRMRequirements3+ years of outside sales or account management experience in industrial distribution or a related fieldPump experience is required — familiarity with fluid power, hydraulics, or pneumatics is a strong plusStrong hunter mentality with the ability to open new accounts while retaining and growing existing businessExcellent communication, organizational, and follow-through skillsComfortable working independently and managing a broad territoryValid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned regionCompensationCompetitive base salary + commission.
