Sales Associate 1 (Co-op Partners Warehouse)

Must be able to work Monday-Friday 7:30am-3:30pm.

Purpose: The Sales Associate 1 is responsible for accurate order fulfillment, assisting with quality and inventory control.

Reports to: Director of Purchasing and Sales

Essential Functions:

• Account management for select customers.

• Guide and process customer orders and inquiries.

• Communicate with customers via phone and or email.

• Solve customers problems and find best possible solutions.

• Provide knowledgeable answers to questions about products, pricing, and availability.

• Respond to shipping inquiries and answer order status questions.

• Run inventory and sales reports by customer.

• Process Credit Memos.

• Promotes good working relationships by maintaining a courteous and friendly manner.

• Attend work regularly and on time as scheduled.

• Meet or exceed productivity and quality standards.

• Performance based advancement opportunity based on meeting sustained order accuracy, Sales growth, and attendance criteria for a specified period of time.

• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older. Previous customer service, inside sales and outside sales experience in retail or produce industry preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with order/data entry, preferred.
• Ability to sit/stand for extended periods of time. Occasional work in cold, wet condition.
• Demonstrated ability to work with customers and coworkers from diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Ability to work with TCCP to create an inclusive environment where all are welcomed.
