Position Overview
The Part-Time Retail Associate plays an important role in creating an exceptional in-store experience for every customer. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role for someone who enjoys connecting with people, takes pride in great service, and is excited to represent the brand.
The ideal candidate is personable, dependable, and comfortable taking initiative on the sales floor while supporting the broader store team.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Experience & Sales
- Create a welcoming, engaging, and service-driven experience for every customer
- Build authentic customer relationships and provide thoughtful, personalized product recommendations
- Develop strong knowledge of the product line, brand story, and lifestyle
- Actively contribute to store sales goals through selling, clienteling, and exceptional service
- Support customer service needs including purchases, returns, and exchanges
- Help build long-term customer relationships and encourage repeat business
Store Operations & Merchandising
- Support daily store operations, including opening and closing responsibilities as needed
- Assist with receiving, replenishment, inventory organization, and product placement
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually compelling sales floor
- Ensure merchandise is presented according to brand standards
- Accurately process transactions through the point-of-sale system
- Assist with general operational needs throughout the store
Team & Brand Representation
- Work collaboratively with Store Leadership and fellow associates to create a positive, team-oriented environment
- Represent the brand with professionalism and enthusiasm both in and outside of the store
- Participate in store events, activations, and local community initiatives as needed
- Stay informed on new products, promotions, and store priorities
Qualifications
- Previous retail, apparel, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Genuine interest in providing an elevated customer experience
- Proactive, dependable, and comfortable working independently when needed
- Team-oriented with a positive, solutions-focused approach
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to support all areas of the store
- Ability to work a flexible part-time schedule, including weekends, holidays, and peak retail periods
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Alignment with the brand and lifestyle
