Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Sales
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities
Conduct outreach through calls, meetings, networking events, referrals, and industry associations.
Assist in developing sales proposals, presentations, and other related materials.
Track pipeline development, sales goals, and account activity.
Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and workforce challenges.
Relationship Management
Build long-term relationships with employer groups, brokers, consultants, and community partners.
Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
Serve as a trusted resource regarding benefit offerings, enrollment processes, and service support.
Educate prospective and existing clients on health plans, ancillary benefits, compliance basics, and trust participation requirements.
Coordinate with internal teams including underwriting, client services, and compliance to support onboarding and renewals.
Assist with open enrollment meetings and member education events as needed.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
1-3 years of experience in sales, customer service, insurance, employee benefits, or agricultural business.
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build rapport
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel within assigned territory.
