Sales Associate

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our dealership team. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, a passion for automobiles, and a drive to succeed in a fast-paced, commission-based environment. As a Sales Associate, you will guide customers through the vehicle purchasing process, from initial inquiry to final sale, ensuring a high-quality customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner

• Determine customer needs and recommend suitable vehicles

• Conduct vehicle demonstrations and test drives

• Explain features, benefits, and financing options to customers

• Negotiate pricing and trade-in values within dealership guidelines

• Complete sales paperwork accurately and efficiently

• Follow up with potential and existing customers to encourage retention and referrals

• Maintain in-depth knowledge of current inventory, promotions, and industry trends

• Work collaboratively with the finance and service departments to ensure a smooth customer experience

• Meet or exceed monthly sales goals and performance targets

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred)

• Previous automotive sales experience is a plus but not required

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Strong negotiation and closing abilities

• Professional appearance and demeanor

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
