Nxt Legaci Gaming is looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Full-Time Sales Associates! Located in the heart of Times Square, we specialize in trading card games, collectibles, gaming, and community events.
We're looking for motivated individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced retail environment and share our passion for gaming, collectibles, and pop culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with purchases, product recommendations, and inquiries.
- Operate point-of-sale systems and accurately process transactions.
- Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing retail displays.
- Restock merchandise, organize inventory, and assist with product launches.
- Stay informed about new products, promotions, tournaments, and store events.
- Assist with trading card pricing, inventory management, and product evaluations as needed.
- Support tournaments, meet & greets, and other in-store activations.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
Qualifications
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, punctual, professional, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn about trading cards, collectibles, and gaming products.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Additional Skills (A Plus!)
Candidates with any of the following skills are strongly encouraged to apply:
- Multilingual abilities: Fluency in additional languages.
- Trading Card Knowledge: Familiarity with Pokémon, One Piece, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Gundam, Digimon, or other TCGs.
- Card Pricing & Valuation: Experience with raw and graded cards, market pricing, and platforms such as TCGplayer, eBay, or Alt.
- Content Creation: Photography, videography, video editing, social media management, or livestreaming experience.
- Collectibles Knowledge: Familiarity with sports cards, figures, anime merchandise, and other pop culture collectibles.
- Event Experience: Experience organizing or supporting tournaments, conventions, and community events.
These additional skills are preferred but not required. We value candidates who are motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn.
