(the "Foundation") is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that supports individuals and other nonprofits in our community-primarily through the resale of donated goods at the Kiwanis Thrift Sale. In 2023 alone, we provided more than $1,000,000 in charitable grants and gifts. The Sale is open Fridays and Saturdays, while the work to prepare and process merchandise takes place Monday through Saturday. This is a collaborative, fast-paced, hands-on environment with a dedicated mix of paid staff, members of the Kiwanis Club of Ann Arbor, and committed volunteers.About the PositionSales Associates/Drivers play a key role in supporting the Thrift Sale operations, which is the main source of fundraising for the Kiwanis Club of Ann Arbor Foundation. This role provides sale day support & donation pickup services throughout the greater Ann Arbor area.Primary Responsibilities· Driving a box truck· Loading and unloading the box truck· Removal of furniture and goods from donor residences· Organizing & maintaining warehouse and workspaces· Other tasks assigned by the Sales Manager or other leadershipTime RequirementsThis is a part-time on-site role with travel within working hours.
