Position Overview:

The Sales Associate helps provide excellent customer service while supporting daily store operations and sales goals. This role involves assisting customers, maintaining store cleanliness, organizing and displaying merchandise, updating product pricing and signage, and operating the point-of-sale (POS) system. Sales Associates also support the Store Management Team by following company policies and procedures, maintaining store standards, and helping create an engaging shopping experience.

 

This position is located in Staten Island, NY.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide friendly customer service in accordance with company standards.
• Assist customers with merchandise and product inquiries.
• Support store sales goals and daily operations.
• Maintain store cleanliness through regular housekeeping.
• Organize and display merchandise and maintain product signage and pricing.
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Follow company policies and procedures, including loss prevention practices.
• Support the Store Management Team in maintaining store standards.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Customer service experience is required.
• Previous experience in retail is strongly preferred.
• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to assist customers and work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment while maintaining store organization.
• Must have flexible, open availability for evenings, weekends and holiday hours to meet business needs.

Pay Range: USD $17.00 - USD $17.25 /Hr.
